Now Hiring: Marketing Assistant (freelance)

I’m looking for a super-awesome person to fill a vital role at Do You Even Blog, a part-time marketer! If the words “funnel” and “analytics” and “automations” don’t scare you–keep reading and then apply!

This role is PERFECT for you if...

  • You’re passionate about online business. You probably have your own blog/business, and like talking about it.
  • You’re not scared of tech. You’re probably the person your extended family comes to when they need help with setting up their new iPhone. You’re more than comfortable working through alllll my different marketing softwares.
  • You have a tendency to OVERcommunicate. Things move fast around here, so I need to know where tasks/projects are at during the process! You’re not shy about updating me on things.
  • You like spreadsheets and numbers. If the thought of analyzing and organizing my KPIs across 3 different funnels sounds boring–this is not the job for you.
  • You like, no, LOVE, systems. You’ll be neck-deep in my systems, automation, and funnels. You’re probably always on the lookout for a better/easier/lazier way to do things.

Pay & Hours

HOURS – You’ll start off around 3-4 hours a week. If you’re a great fit and want to stick around and do MORE work, we can chat about that.

PAY – I’m starting you off at $20/hour. This can increase in the future depending on your role!

AVAILABILITY – You can kinda work whenever you want–but I require check-ins at least every other day–even if it’s a tiny check-in via text, call, or Zoom.

TIME ZONE – I’m looking for somebody in North America time zones! Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern is fine.

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

Marketing Analytics & Optimization – 50%

  • Track KPIs across the entire funnel (Ad data, CTRs on landing page, CPA, etc)
  • Creating split tests & other experiments
  • Report the KPIs, metrics to me and helping me make decisions on how to improve
  • Analyzing YouTube analytics and reporting findings to me

One-off projects (non-creative work) – 25%

  • Transcribe videos for my courses
  • Creating a database in Google Docs of Activecampaign emails
  • etc.

NOTE: You don't have to know exactly how to do any of those. Pete will teach you what you need to know.
