millennial money man do you even blog podcast

So, in honor of Labor Day, I’ve decided to release this RARE, vault-archive podcast with the one and only…Bobby Hoyt from Millennial Money Man.

Unedited.

You’ve been warned. There are likely

  • curse words,
  • terrible mic sounds (and me munching on popcorn),
  • probably some controversial thoughts.

General stuff we chat about:

  • Top mistakes bloggers make in their early blogging days
  • Podcasting? Worth the time and effort?
  • What we would’ve done different when we started.
  • Lessons learned from blogging/entrepreneur giants, etc.

Listen to this long and unedited chat with Millennial Money Man…part dos!

or listen on \\ iTunes \\ Sticher \\ Google Play \\ Overcast

Show notes –> NONE.

This is a bonus episode 🙂 Enjoy!

  1. Great insights Pete and Bobby. Love the tips about being authentic and adding value before ‘spamming’. Will absolutely look out for future tips. Thanks for publishing this, i’m inspired now 🙂 Cheers.

  2. Hey Pete,

Great list. I’d like to add one! ‘You write in block paragraphs and don’t reformat your post to emphasise certain messages’.

It’s true that people reading a post/article will skip through to find key messages. Why not make their life easier (and allow them to read efficiently) by making words bold, italic, using bullet points, increasing text font, in order to allow key points to emerge.

    1. 137% with you Shivam. I don’t even read posts with walls of text. Not sure if that makes me a jerk or not 🙂

      Thanks for listening btw!

  3. This was entertaining. I think I counted 10 mistakes for us noobs to watch out for and then you also dropped a value bomb right at the end. I am sure that is somewhere in your course but I’m hoping a ton of folks have found that and are using it. I wrote up my own show notes and will return to it often as I begin again. I love these dress-down Friday podcasts. Hopefully there are more as I try to catchup with the all the episodes. Thanks for sharing this; even unedited.
